The need for residential fire sprinklers in a new home or addition is determined by the distance to fire hydrants, access to the home, grades to the home and around the home, and the available fire flow obtained from the local water purveyor.

Determining Requirements

Determination for fire sprinklers is made upon submittal of building plans.
