What is MIH?

Mobile Integrated Health is a program that assists individuals of the Federal way and Des Moines communities after a 911 event. Due to limited capacity all MIH referrals are internal from our South King Firefighters. MIH is unable to accept self-referrals from the public.

MIH staff has 2 nurses and 2 social workers who serve patients via firefighter referrals or 911 co-response. MIH professionals proactively meet with residents in their home, assess their needs and connect them to community resources that will better meet those needs than call 911.

If you are in need of services, you are not alone, please contact:

  • 988 (24/7 mental health needs)
  • 911 for emergencies
  • 211 (Community resources)
