Request an Adjustment to Your FBC

Citizens are afforded the opportunity to file a Petition for Adjustment for the Fire Benefit Charges (FBC) each year.

2026 Petition Deadline

The deadline for 2026 petitions was January 31, 2026, at 4:30 p.m.

To submit a petition, you can fill out the FBC Petition Form and email it to [email protected].

  • Before filing a petition to correct your square footage, follow the Square Footage Instructions. Be sure to include your attached garage.

Review Process

The Board convened the 2026 Benefit Charge Review Board on January 27, 2026. The Board was scheduled to review its findings and recommendations on February 17, 2026. Your presence at the hearing is not required and your petition will be considered without your attendance. You will receive notice of the Board’s decision within 7 days.

If you decline, the embedded listing is hidden, and you can still view all bids using the link at the bottom of the page, which opens BeaconBid’s own website.
