About the Community Affairs Office

The Community Affairs Office (CAO) is here to connect the community with their Fire District. These connections provide opportunities to see hear our citizens’ needs, work together with community partners and provide education and information with the goal of risk reduction for the members of our community.

Engaging with the members of our community is an important part of our mission. The CAO also interacts regularly with local service groups and housing communities, including strategies for addressing the areas of our community that could use more support from their local fire department.

Our community Affairs office offers many kinds of fire and life safety trainings that can benefit all members of our community. If you are interested in learning about fire prevention/safety, fall prevention, fire extinguisher usage, CPR, emergency preparedness or another safety topic please fill out a request form.
