For Residential Solar installations, South King Fire does not inspect on-site. You will need to follow the directions for submission listed below. If we receive large files, we will request you resend the correct photos.
- Limit of ONE photo of finished installation showing 36" access from the ground include an imperial measuring tape tool in the photo
- Limit of ONE photo of finished installation showing 18" or 36" clearance at the roof peak to include an imperial measuring tape tool in the photo.
- Limit of ONE photo of the shutoff switch with signage.
- Limit of ONE photo of the front of the house demonstrating the house address or street-side view.
- ONE or more photos for each fully installed array.
Photos of electrical installation or the like are not necessary.
A minimum of 5 photos are required and a maximum of 10 photos will be accepted to process the PV inspection request.
Due to size limitations, save photos on a single page and save as a .PDF before sending. Maximum file size is 50MB.
You will receive a response from SKF once the permit has been approved by SKF so you can schedule your electrical final inspection.
