Citizens are afforded the opportunity to file a Petition for Adjustment for the Fire Benefit Charges (FBC) each year.
The deadline to file a petition is January 31st, 2026 at 4:30pm.
To submit a petition, you can fill out the FBC Petition Form and email it to fbc@southkingfire.org.

The South King Fire Board of Commissioners will hear petitions at the Board meeting on January 27th. The FBC review period ends at the Board meeting on February 17th. Your presence at the hearing is not required and your petition will be considered without your attendance. You will receive notice of the Board's decision within 7 days.
