At the Board of Commissioners Meeting on April 25, 2024, the Board approved Resolutions 648 and 649 authorizing South King Fire to move forward with seeking the Fire Benefit Charge (FBC) on the August 6, 2024, Primary Election ballot. Resolutions are as follows:

The election results were certified on August 22nd, 2024 by King County for a 65.28% Yes Vote authorizing the Fire Benefit Charge.
