Fire protection systems are an essential component for the safe occupancy of the structure. The Annual Certification Test report is your documentation that the required systems are in good operating condition and the building is maintained safe for occupancy.
International Fire Code section 901.6 requires that these systems be inspected, tested and maintained by a qualified and licensed company. Any deficiencies in the systems identified by the testing company must be repaired. Testing companies are listed in the yellow pages of the phone book under "Fire Extinguishers", "Fire Alarm Systems", "Sprinklers-Automatic Fire", etc.
Please forward a copy of the completed test report(s) to; South King Fire and Rescue, Fire Marshal's Office, 31617 1st Avenue South, Federal Way, WA 98003. You may also fax the report(s) to; (253) 529-7206.
